First, it is an honor for me to serve as the 134th president of the Association. My dad, Demetri, was an ISBA member from the first day of his career, which began in 1950. He was involved in the Association and highly valued his service to the profession. My dad instilled in me the importance of being involved and being part of the ISBA even before I was admitted. To follow in his footsteps is special, and I look forward to my service as president. During the years of my participation in the ISBA, I have had the opportunity to meet members from all over the state. I have been impressed time and again with the quality and the professional commitment of our members. I am planning to share with the public the good works our members routinely perform. The watch words for the coming year will be "ISBA lawyers care."
